Account and data deletion

The fastest way. Deletion is completed immediately.

1. Sign in at app.itefteri.gr or in the iTefteri mobile application.
2. Open the user menu (top right) and select Account settings.
3. Go to the Delete account section.
4. Enter your password and the confirmation word requested.

Note: if you are the sole owner of a store, deletion is not permitted until you assign another owner or request deletion of the entire store. This protects the rest of your team from losing access.

If you cannot access your account or prefer to submit a request, send an email to info@itefteri.gr with the subject “Account deletion request”.

• Send it from the email address you are registered with.
• We will verify your identity before proceeding.
• Deletion is completed within 30 days, as required by Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

If you are a store owner and wish to delete the entire store with all its data, state this explicitly in your request.

All information that identifies you is permanently deleted:

• Full name and username
• Email address
• Password
• Phone number
• Profile photo
• Comments and social media links

After deletion it is no longer possible to sign in to the account.

The business records you created — income and expense entries, working hours, cash movements — belong to the store and not to your personal account. They are retained in anonymised form, unlinked from you.

This is also required by Greek tax law, which mandates that accounting records be kept for five (5) years. Deleting a user cannot destroy the accounting books of the business they worked for.

Retention periods:

• Active account: for as long as your subscription lasts.
• After subscription expiry: 12 months, so you can reactivate the account without data loss.
• After a deletion request: anonymisation within 30 days.
• Accounting and tax documents: 5 years, as required by Greek tax law, regardless of a deletion request.
• Log files: 12 months.
• Backups: up to 30 days on a rolling basis.
