Where it belongs

A quick note about the plan.

What it gives you in practice

You keep track of stock levels and orders without paper notebooks and without "I think we have some".

• You set up your stock items once, with a unit (pcs, box, sack), category and supplier.
• You set a min stock and "must have" (safe stock), and the system shows you what needs ordering — with color.
• You add movements (intake, consumption, correction) to a cart and post them in one go. If you made a mistake, you undo within 30 seconds.
• You run a stocktake with checkbox selection and preview, without accidentally wiping anything.
• You export a CSV for ordering, work from your phone in the mobile view, and lock the panel in Kiosk mode with a PIN.

Item card

The fields used by the color coding and the stock overview.

• Name (required) — the name you use with the team.
• Code & Barcode — for quick identification and future scanning scenarios.
• Unit — e.g. pcs, box, sack.
• Category — for grouping and quick filters (chips).
• Supplier — ties the item to a supplier, for ordering and the ledger.
• Current stock — the stock level right now.
• Min stock — the threshold below which an order is needed immediately.
• "Must have" (safe stock) — the comfortable level that keeps you covered.
• Sort order — your own display order, regardless of alphabetical order.
• Active / Inactive — soft delete, without losing history.

Color coding (explained)

The colors are applied automatically in Movements, Stocktake and Inactive, based on Stock, Min stock and "Must have".

• Red — Stock < Min stock. Needs an order immediately, item below the minimum.
• Pink — Min stock ≤ Stock ≤ "Must have". Within limits, but close to the threshold. Needs attention.
• Green — Stock > "Must have". Normal stock, inside the safe zone.
• Light blue — Stock ≥ 120% of "Must have". Possible overstock; you may not need to order soon.

"Movements" tab: filters, sorting & cart

The daily flow — from "what's running low" to posting the entry.

• Item search and quick category chips for instant filtering.
• Filters: All categories, All suppliers, All / Below min / Near min.
• Sorting: Order, A-Z, Stock, Gap (distance from the "must have" level).
• A cart with +/− lines and a summary (e.g. "3 lines · +12 / −4").
• You post everything at once. If you clicked by mistake, a bar appears: "Undo available for 30s".

"Stocktake" tab

You set a You set a new quantity for the selected items, with a warning before you finalize.

• You select items (checkbox) and enter the final quantity per item.
• A preview of the change before posting ("Name: before → after").
• The stocktake is posted as a batch movement with the label "Stocktake" in the log.
• Category/supplier filters in the stocktake tab too, so you can do it in stages.

"Movements (log)" tab & CSV export

A history of what happened and a quick export for orders.

• The latest movements with a type (Intake, Consumption, Stocktake, Correction), quantity and before → after.
• Grouping by Movement #ID (batch) — one posting = one line in the log with all its changes underneath.
• CSV for ordering (order helper) — you export a list of what's needed, ready for the supplier.

"Inactive" tab

You don't lose history when you "throw away" an item.

• Items you deactivate are hidden from the main view but remain in the history.
• From the edit screen, you can reactivate them whenever you like.

Categories & Suppliers

Item organization and a supplier account card for printing.

• Item categories — create, order, activate/deactivate. If you delete a category, the items are left uncategorized (not lost).
• Suppliers — a supplier list with display order and active/inactive status.
• Supplier account card / ledger — shows movements and offers printing for your records or your manager.

Mobile View (Orders)

The ordering panel for the counter — from your phone, without missing a step.

• Grouping by supplier, with a separate "Supplier: …" header and date.
• Flags for "Needs ordering · SOS" (red) and "Needs ordering" (pink).
• A suggested minimum order based on the "must have" level and the current state.
• Fields per line: Comments / Stock, Order quantity, "Ordered / purchased" checkbox.
• Add to stock — when you receive the goods, you enter the units and a movement is recorded.

Kiosk mode with a PIN

A stock terminal at the counter, with no risk of anyone touching other modules.

• A minimal UI dedicated to Supplies — with no access to the rest of iTefteri.
• Log in with a PIN, and an "Exit" button when the shift ends.
• Also available as a Mobile Kiosk for a tablet/phone at the counter.
• Kiosk settings managed by the owner — who can use it, what they see, what they can change.

How you use it

One simple flow to get the hang of it quickly.

1. You set up categories and suppliers (once).
2. You add items with a unit, category, supplier, and define min stock + "must have".
3. You run an initial stocktake to enter the current stock.
4. Every day, you add movements to the cart (intakes, consumption) and post them all at once.
5. When something approaches or crosses the threshold, you use the Mobile View (Orders) to place orders per supplier.
6. You print a supplier ledger or export a CSV for your records.

Which modules it pairs well with
